FAQs

Yes, you can travel to the UK without an adult. However, certain requirements must be met, including obtaining written consent and full contact details from your parent or guardian.

Proof of suitable accommodation includes providing the name and date of birth of the person you'll be staying with, their address, details of your relationship to them, and their written consent for you to stay with them.

If you're under 16 (or under 18 with a disability) and will be looked after for more than 28 days by someone who is not a close relative, such as private foster care, your parent, guardian, or school must inform the relevant local authority. Proof of communication with the local authority may be required.

Generally, the same rules apply, but there are exceptions for group travel or when accompanied by an adult, such as a teacher. Different rules may apply in Scotland and Northern Ireland, so it's advisable to consult the specific guidance for more information.

If you're travelling with an adult, you need to show that your parent or guardian consents to your travel and accommodation arrangements. If a visa is required, you must identify the accompanying adult in your visa application.

If you're travelling with someone who is not your parent, you'll need to provide specific information about them in your visa application.

Yes, you can identify up to 2 adults in your visa application. Each adult must complete a separate application.

In such cases, you'll need to demonstrate that your parent or guardian consents to your travel and accommodation arrangements.
