To qualify, you must show:
You will leave the UK at the end of your visit
You can financially support yourself
You have proof of business activities (invitation letters, contracts, conference tickets, etc.)
You are genuinely visiting and not attempting to work illegally
You may visit the UK for up to 6 months to carry out the following:
Interviews , Meetings , Conferences, Seminars
Signing contracts, Negotiating commercial agreements
You may promote your business, but selling products is not allowed.
If your overseas employer requires specialist UK-based training that is unavailable in your country.
You may give a one-off or short professional talk, as long as it’s not a commercial or paid event.
Paid engagements require a Permitted Paid Engagement Visa, not a Standard Visitor Visa.
You can carry out property or facility inspections related to your overseas role.
This includes checking on UK-supplied goods/services for your overseas company.
You may work with UK-based employees of your overseas company on internal projects.
If your overseas company has a contract with a UK organisation, you may:
Install or dismantle equipment, Repair or service systems, Provide specialist advice
You can stay up to 6 months per visit.
No. You cannot take paid or unpaid employment with a UK employer.
You may promote, but you cannot sell.
