Under 18 Years Old

Aged 18 or Over
Spent less than 20 years in the UK but would face significant problems living in their country of origin.
Continuous Residence of 20 Years
Lived in the UK continuously for 20 years.

To a parent who has or is applying for permission to stay in the UK on the basis of private life.
Family Members' Applications
Family members can apply on the same application, with each individual’s case considered separately.

The visa allows a stay of 2 years and 6 months. However, you can apply for a 5-year stay if you're under 18 and have lived in the UK for 7 years or are aged 18 to 24 and have spent half your life in the UK.
- You can apply for settlement after 5 years if you meet certain criteria like being under 18 with 7 years of continuous residence or aged 18 to 24 with half your life spent in the UK.
- Settlement is possible after 10 years for those over 18 with less than 20 years in the UK and facing significant problems if they return to their home country.
You can apply to extend your visa for an additional 2 years and 6 months.
