Apply for a Temporary Work - Religious Worker Visa in the UK

The Temporary Work – Religious Worker visa is designed for individuals like you who are committed to participating in the religious community without fulfilling a pastoral role.

You may be eligible to Apply for a Temporary Work and Religious Worker Visa in the UK

Eligibility for the Religious Worker Visa

To qualify, applicants must align with certain eligibility prerequisites. These requirements ensure you're suited to the role and responsibilities that a non-pastoral religious worker undertakes. It's important that applicants understand and meet these criteria to proceed with the application process.

Transition from T5 (Temporary Worker) Religious Worker Visa

Please note, the UK visa protocols are subject to changes and updates. The current Temporary Work - Religious Worker visa has superseded the previous T5 (Temporary Worker) Religious Worker visa. This transition reflects the UK’s updated immigration rules, providing a streamlined process for religious workers.

Mandatory Sponsorship for Visa Applicants

Integral to your visa application is the requirement for a certificate of sponsorship. Before your journey to work in the UK begins, you must secure sponsorship from a licensed entity. This sponsor, typically a religious institution, will provide the necessary certificate of sponsorship.

Sponsorship Relationship and Work Alignment

It's pivotal that the religious work you intend to undertake in the UK directly correlates with your sponsoring organization’s activities. This alignment ensures compliance with the visa’s terms, reinforcing the genuine need and purpose for your stay in the UK.
